Committed to Creating Positive Change.

Parents for Quality Education (PQE), a 501(c)(4) nonprofit organization, was founded by civic minded parents in 2009 to improve public education through increased involvement of parents and the community in the educational process.

Parents for Quality Education (PQE) targets key activities necessary to transform public education so every child receives a quality education.

We are committed to:

Advancing a shared understanding that student achievement is the measure of a school’s success.

Fostering the use of accurate, unbiased research and information on school effectiveness, education laws and academic programs.

Encouraging and training parents to take effective leadership roles in their children’s education.
Mobilizing the public to improve public education by partnering with parents to build local, self-sustaining capacity for education revitalization.

Building a statewide, community-based coalition that focuses on transforming and revitalizing public education in our state.

Establishing a grassroots presence in legislative body to positively affect K-12 education policy.

What challenges are we facing?

The challenges we’re facing in our public education system are varied and complex, but not impossible to overcome.
